These are my kids. Well only 1 is by law, the 2 little boys have been here for so long and so much that they feel like mine. Today is the first day of Christmas break for Emily. So she wanted to have a day where they only wear pajamas. The little one looking at the camera is Geno, he is 20 months old and is the quiet one of the 2. The other little boy is Carson, he is 22 months old and all BOY. He love to climb, crawl and just get into anything and everything that he should not. Which is a complete switch from having a little girl. Emily loves these 2 little boys, she even calls they her "little brothers". She plays with them and gives them hugs and kisses, gets mad at them, all the stuff a real big sister does. This is really the best of both worlds for me, I can help raise more children, but after 5pm my house goes quiet again and it is just Emily.

My Husband

This is Jamie (JR, Junior,) what ever you call him, Emily calls him daddy. He is a good daddy and will probably not be happy about the picture, but he will go to get lengths to make his little girl happy. This was taken on fathers day after a great weekend of family time together. For those of you who do not know, Jamie works as a bakery manager at Giant Eagle and it is very hard for him to get time off during the weekend. We went to Living Treasures Animal park, Jamie went fishing a few times. But we had a great weekend.

Here are a few pictures of our promotions

Well, well, well, it seems that it has been several months since I have posted on here. So lets see where to start? Oh yes with the obvious the Steelers are not the Super Bowl champs, but a good second was Hines Ward won Dancing with the Stars!!! I have lost almost 30 pounds since September, (thank you Mr Shay for kicking my butt twice a week). Jamie and I are now green belts and Emily is an orange belt with a stripe in martial arts, and we love it, (thank you to the Bailey family for getting us interested in this). Emily has finished first grade with straight A's for the fourth nine weeks in a row, and she is reading on a third grade level. I am so very proud of her. Jamie has been transferred to Leetsdale, but he is now facing back surgery in August. He has a crack in one of his lower vertebra and major slippage in his spine. So he has to have surgery and will be in the hospital for 4 days then laid up at home for about 2 weeks to a moth at home, heaven help me. He also will have to wear a brace for 3 months afterward, and can not do martial arts, mow the grass or anything that involves pushing, pulling or lifting more than 5 pound for about a month or 2. I am still babysitting Carson who is now 16 months old and Geno who is now 14 months old, and they are both on the move!!!!! Wow having 2 boy is way different that when Emily was a baby.

HERE WE GO STEELERS!!!!!
Well it is that time, the Steelers are getting ready for another Super Bowl, and we are going to watch it with Jamie's Grandmother. I can not believe that this will be the 8th time they are in the Super Bowl. Last week I was talking to the little preschoolers that I teach in Sunday school and I told them that "Mrs. Amy has been alive for every time the Steelers have been in the game". They was amazed and so am I. So good luck to the Steelers, we will be waving our Terrible towels just like the rest of the Steeler Nation!!!

January 5, 2011 My Boys
These are our "boys" Carson is the one with all the hair and not smiling, which is not like him he was just having an off day. He is 10 months going to 11 months on the 11, and he is almost walking and he is a rough and tumble kind of kid and always on the move. He does not like to sleep very much in the day, I think he is afraid he is going to miss something. I have him 4 to 5 days a week. The other little one with the bright eyes and huge smile is Geno and he is always smiling. He is 8 moths old and going to be 9 months old on the 14, and he is now doing the Army crawl and let me tell you this kid can move faster than you can blink your eyes. He is my sleeper he will sleep for 2 to 3 hours at a time. I have Geno 2 to 3 days a week. This is the best job I have ever had and both boys have become a part of our family. Emily loves them both very much, expect when the start to cry.
On to an update on me, well I go to the doctors today to get a check up and find out how much I actually weigh and how much I need to lose, and stuff like that. I will let you all know how that all goes. I did finish the bathroom and now I need to start on the kitchen.
Thank you all for your comments here and on facebook, they really help.

January 4, 2011 What was I thinking
Well sitting here eating breakfast, I realized that I forgot to post yesterday. Yesterday was a busy day, Carson was here and boy can that kid get around, he is almost walking across a room, and now Geno is here today and he is doing the Army crawl and wow can this kid move. Which leads me to think, What on earth was I thinking when I said I would watch these two. But seriously I love them both like they were mine and I enjoy my days with them. Another good thing about them being mobile is that I now know what is going to help lose some of this weight. Any way on the cleaning part I started the bathroom and am going to hopefully finish it today. I have decided that this spring we are going to paint.
Today's goals, Keep up with Geno and Carson, yep that's right they are both here today. Finish the Bathroom, cook dinner and go to martial arts tonight. I will let you know how I do tonight after my butt kicking.

January 2, 2011
Well today was a productive day, we went to church all 3 of us, Jamie had the day off. Then went to the grocery store because I had nothing for Emily's lunch and since she goes back to school tomorrow I think she needs some stuff. Anyway, came home and took a nap because Emily decided to have a "bad dream" and come into our room at 3 in the morning. After that I watched the second half of the Steelers game, but I think the Browns forgot to show up. Took all the decorations down and made eggs for Emily for dinner since Jamie said he was not hungry. Also got Emily working on her martial arts, she is doing better at it, so we will see if she can test with us on January 15. Say a prayer that she can. Tomorrows goal is to call the doctors and get in for a check up since I have not had one in a while and I need to talk to him about how I am sleeping. Also to start cleaning out either the kitchen or the bathroom, those are the 2 easiest rooms to start with and to not beat my husband, since he is home tomorrow. Oh by the way Carson comes tomorrow so I will need my roller skates.

January 1, 2011
Well it is New Year's Day and I did nothing but stay in my Jammie's and watch movies and play with Emily. We made some jewelery with her new kits she got for Christmas, and I actually cooked breakfast and lunch. Pancakes for breakfast and chicken noodle soup for lunch. Then Jamie came home from work and we went for dinner at his mom's. So I did not do to much but it was a nice calm start to the new year. Tomorrow I am going to hit the ground running with church first and then take down the decorations and clean up the house, because on Monday the babies are back. For of you that do not know I watch 2 little ones during the day. Carson is 10 months old and was just about walking before Christmas, then there is Geno, he is 8 months old and just starting to crawl. So as you can see I now have my hands full, but it is the best job I have ever had. Not sure what to make for dinner tomorrow night, maybe stuffed shells?
