Kitchen mess

So this is Jamie and Emily's attempt at making pudding pops, and there is a story behind this. I got a mini pie maker the other day and I tried to make chocolate cream pies, but I had my dough to thick and it became a mess. So what to do with the already making pudding, Enter Emily into the kitchen. "why don't we make pudding pops and put them in the freezer". She is so very smart. By the way she got all A's and 1 B on her report card.

Sleep over and Shopping

Well the sleepover was a success!!! The girls went to sleep around midnight, and woke around 7:30 or 8, not sure which, I was asleep. Then it was off shopping with Michelle. We had a lot of fun, but we did have a melt down in Claire's. Emily could not decide whether to buy make up or save her money for wal mart to buy a doll. So after all the hoopla here is what she bought with her money. A hand sanitizer, a holder for said sanitizer and 6 puzzle block erasers.

Sleepover

Tonight Emily is having a sleepover. One of her best friends from church and martial arts Shay. She is a sweetheart, and really gets along with Emily, even though she is a few years older. We did some crafts tonight and more to follow tomorrow then it is off for a shopping trip with Shay and her mom Michelle, who is one of my best friends. Wonder how much sleep they will get tonight.

Little Helper

This morning Carson was a big help as you can see. When I do Emily's hair in the morning the boys join me in the bathroom, and Carson's spot is on the sink. So today he picked up Emily's toothbrush and started to try and brush her teeth, it was so cute I had to share it with you.

I DID IT!!!!!!

Well I did it!!! What did she do now, you are wondering? Well January 2011 I made a restitution to clean out this house room by room. Well it took me a year and I finally did it. I am the worlds best procrastinator, Right before Christmas I cleaned out my kitchen from fridge to the cupboards, then the week after New Years Jamie and I cleaned out the basement. Boy did we have a lot of crap!!! But we got rid of it. So over the weekend I cleaned out our room and Emily's, and wow did she have a lot of crap also. Today I went through the bathroom cupboards and pitched stuff. I am amazed at how good you feel just by throwing out and going through things. We are going to need to get a dumpster in the spring to put some of the bigger things in and stuff like that, but they have there own pile down the basement and it's days are numbered. The only room left is the upstairs craft/play room and that is this weekends task. So here is to a clean fresh start to 2012.

Fast Asleep

So Geno is now sleeping in Emily's bed and not his pack in play. Carson has been sleeping in our bed for about 4 months now. But just about a month ago Geno started to climb out of his pack in play. Also he will be a big brother in June, so I figured what better time to start trying to have him sleep in a big bed, since his bed will be otherwise taken when the new little one starts coming in July or August, whenever mommy goes back to work. Today is the second time he has done this and so far so good. Next step is to get him and Carson to take their naps in the same room, but that is several months down the road.

My Kids

These are my kids. Well only 1 is by law, the 2 little boys have been here for so long and so much that they feel like mine. Today is the first day of Christmas break for Emily. So she wanted to have a day where they only wear pajamas. The little one looking at the camera is Geno, he is 20 months old and is the quiet one of the 2. The other little boy is Carson, he is 22 months old and all BOY. He love to climb, crawl and just get into anything and everything that he should not. Which is a complete switch from having a little girl. Emily loves these 2 little boys, she even calls they her "little brothers". She plays with them and gives them hugs and kisses, gets mad at them, all the stuff a real big sister does. This is really the best of both worlds for me, I can help raise more children, but after 5pm my house goes quiet again and it is just Emily.
